Individual therapy is conducted in a safe and non-judgmental environment, aimed to assist clients in processing vulnerable past, present, or future oriented content. As a therapist, my role is to facilitate change by assisting clients in identifying the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, body sensations, and actions related to difficult experiences. The personal courage to attend to moment-to-moment awareness not only cultivates positive social and emotional skills, but also inspires a sense of empowerment and evokes a renewed sense of purpose in one’s life.

 

Whether you are teen or adult, struggling with depression, anxiety, or relational difficulties, individual therapy heals from the inside out & cultivates resilience and growth, empowering one to live their best life.

Addressing relational concerns to people that matter can often feel daunting and vulnerable. We often find ourselves pushing away or avoiding the perception of conflict. We carry into relationships the mental burdens of our past, needing guidance to unpack our narratives and create more serving dialogue to transform dismissive, projecting, and negative patterns of relating into constructive and life-enhancing communication.

 

Couple’s and Family therapy provides a safe and unbiased environment to heal old wounds, master mindful communication skills, and bolster the capacity for authentic connection.

Mindfulness and Parenting

As parents, we often feel the weight of responsibility in raising conscious children. We are met with daily stressors that act as a barrier to connecting deeply with our children. A Mindfulness and Parenting group is an opportunity to learn effective ways of managing parental stress, to find humor and validation in shared experience, and to cultivate a deeper sense of connection with your partner and children.

 

Mindfulness and Pregnancy

 

The transition to motherhood is often met with both an overwhelming sense of joy and sometimes trepidation. We are conditioned through expectation that pregnancy is only an experience filled with connection, wonderment, purpose, and bliss, but this is not always the case for parents to be. A group for parents to be can help unpack the layers of complicated thoughts and feelings we carry during the pregnancy journey. This group provides education and develops life-enhancing parenting skills aimed to boost self-confidence, self-compassion, and purpose on your journey.

Mindful Teen

Mindful Teen is a group to help cultivate performance enhancement skills to decrease stress, increase self-awareness, improve focus, work through mental barriers, access flow and fulfillment, and boost self-confidence.

Coming out to your friends, family, and society at large can often feel overwhelming, further wedging a barrier between you and authentic expression. The "coming out" process requires a commitment to dig deep from the inside out in a safe and affirming environment. To know that you are safe, seen, and accepted is the first step to living authentically. I view LGBTQ clients' identities in a positive light, and seek to assist my clients in processing and addressing the negative influences of homophobia, transphobia, and heterosexism.
